The number of sales jobs Arizona (Click here) has to offer will soon increase as one company relocates there.

Easy Energy Systems recently announced its plans to move the company's headquarters from Welcome, Minn., to Phoenix, Ariz. That move will create about 450 jobs, most of which will be in manufacturing, but some of which will be in other positions as well, such as sales careers Phoenix.

EES, which produces technology that creates ethanol from waste, chose to move to the Phoenix area for a number of reasons. One reason is that the company named local businessman Bill Hinz as its CEO, hoping his relationships throughout the local community will benefit EES.

"Arizona was a natural choice," Mark Gaalswyck, founder and chairman of EES, said in a statement. "Not only does it allow us to take advantage of the significant business legacy that Bill has created here, the state offers affordable manufacturing and continues to grow as a hotbed for technology and innovation, which we've bred into our business from its inception."

As of late, EES has seen increasing demand for its Modular Ethanol Production Systems, smaller ethanol plants that allow small amounts of ethanol to be produced from non-corn products. The company's technology can produce ethanol from milk, paper, palm fronds, soda pop, wood, and wasted crop residue.

This process allows everyone from farmers to governments to create energy from materials that would otherwise be wasted. If these waste products weren't converted into energy, they would most likely end up in landfills or be burned.

"We have the opportunity to improve ways of life all over the world without using diminishing resources, which is truly thrilling," Hinz said. "Our approach to creating energy has been extremely well received and we are eager to bring jobs to Arizona. We have a significant sales quote pipeline of several billion dollars already established and are excited to grow, prosper and contribute to the global economy."
